On March 8th We celebrated the accomplishments and aspirations of women around the globe on International Women's Day. All through history brave women have overcome extreme adversity to make significant positive impacts upon society. While most civilized society recognizes women as equal and indispensable members of any successful community, millions of women around the world still face severe oppression and inequality. On International Women's Day we not only celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of Women, but we also take this opportunity to create awareness of the continued oppression of women around the world.
