According to anonymous eyewitnesses, the 2 children were playing in the garden when a gunship helicopter spotted them and shelled the entire area.
During the operation, Pakistani Ground Forces carried out a systematic series of home invasions; looting valuables, torturing residents and burning the houses. Among the homes destroyed was the residence of BRHO representative Bibi Gul. Baloch advocates and human rights defenders around the world continue to protest the severe human rights abuses in Balochistan. BSO-Azad organized a rally in Karachi on September 1st to protest the gross human rights violations, extra-judicial abductions and state endorsement of radical terrorist death squads in Balochistan. Baloch activists, advocates, and human rights defenders the world over have been engaged in a social media campaign advocating the release of abducted BSO-Azad leader Zahid Baloch. BSO-Azad chairman Zahid Baloch was abducted by Pakistani Intelligence Agents in March of this year after a BSO-Azad meeting in Quetta and held without crime or charge since.
A heroic young student and BSO-Azad CC Member Lateef Johar held a hunger strike protest, in May of this year, at the Karachi Press Club in hopes of securing the release of their abducted leader and comrade. Despite enduring 46 days of hunger, dehydration, and exhaustion to the point of near death, Pakistani authorities vehemently denied direct involvement in the enforced disappearance of Zahid Baloch. Zahid’s family has since engaged in sit-ins & protests in Islamabad urging Pakistani authorities to acknowledge the political imprisonment of Zahid Baloch and facilitate his safe release. Activists continue to stage peaceful protests, rallies, and social media campaigns to create international awareness using the hashtag #SaveBSOAzadLeader

Islamic Extremist Gang activity has dramatically increased during the past month. Gangs of State Endorsed Radical Jihadists in Balochistan have openly sworn allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and his fundamentalist Islamic State. The Terrorist gangs have also declared war on Female Education, Zikri Muslims, Shia Muslims and Baloch Nationalism. Objectives clearly shared by the Occupational State Forces.
On August 28th, State Endorsed Radical Jihadist Death Squads attacked a Zigr Khana (Zikri place of worship) in Ziarat Don, Awaran. 8 Zikri people were killed and 6 others injured in the bomb attack. Victims of the attack were identified as Mazar Baloch s/o Saeed Mohmmad, Waja Bakhtyar s/o Manda, Niaz s/o Bangal, Saeed s/o Dil Murad Baloch, Allah Baksh s/o Usman, Dad Jan s/o Mir Dost, Dilpul s/o Ramzan and Haji Ometaan s/o Asaa. Another bombing has been reported in Greasha, near Khudzar, injuring a number of Zikri.
A gang calling themselves Tanzeem-ul-Jihadi set fire to the Goarbon School in Dasht on September 1st. The Islamic extremist gang recently distributed flyers in the Dasht region near Kech, demanding that schools stop educating girls under threat of violence. On Saturday, August 30th, Islamic extremist gangs also set fire to a private school in Panjgur & threatened to burn down all schools that permit girls education in Balochistan. Since the threats and attacks on schools in the Panjgur region, two teachers have been abducted. A few days later in Turbat, On September 10th, State Forces snatched School Headmaster Yousuf.
During the month of August 38 Baloch were Martyred, more than 15 injured and at least 100 abducted at the hands of the occupational state forces. In the past ten years nearly 20,000 Baloch civilians have been been abducted and at least 1000 have been extra judicially executed. Because of Pakistan’s medieval Pakistan Protection Act laws which legalizes the arbitrary enforced abduction of civilians; State Forces, Intelligence Agencies, and Death Squads are able to engage in gross human rights abuses with complete legal immunity.
As a result, Balochistan has become a shadowy killing ground for Pakistan’s army and their violent terrorist gangs. Encouraged by impunity, terrorist gangs such as Lashkar-e-Janghavi, Lashkar-e-Khurasan, Lashkar-e-Islam, Ansar-ul-Islam, Tanzeem-ul-Furqan-ul-Islam, Tanzeem Al-Jihadi, Tahafuz-e-Hudood-ullah, the Taliban, and many others are able to openly terrorize the citizens of Balochistan and impose their primitive fantasies of a medieval lifestyle.
On September 16th Nawab Mehran Marri Baloch spoke at the 27th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council to highlight the severe human rights abuses, indiscriminate bombardment, enforced disappearances and extra-judicial execution of Baloch civilians. During his speech Mehran Marri Baloch stated that “Pakistan has set about the systematic curbing of baloch rights by violently undermining education for them.” He further stated that the “Pakistani establishment is injecting the cancer of sectarianism and bigotry into the historically secular Baloch society”
Exiled Baloch Pro-Independance leader Hayrbyair Marri has cautioned the western world about the growing extremist elements in Balochistan. State sponsored death squads, Taliban militants, and terrorist organizations are operating with complete support from Pakistan’s armed forces and the occupational state government.
Commander in-chief of the Baloch Liberation Front Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch has also stated that the Pakistan’s military uses sectarianism to distort the secular Baloch nationalist struggle. Pakistan’s Army uses terrorist gangs and Taliban militants as strategic assets. Dr. Allah Nazar also pointed out that just as Osama Bin Laden was found living in a mansion only a few blocks away from several military facilities in Abbottabad, the Taliban’s chief commander Mullah Omar lives in a luxurious house next door to a high ranking military commander in Quetta.
In a recent interview with Wendy Johnson published by CrisisBalochistan.com, Dr. Allah Nazar stated “there are more than four camps allied with ISIS in Balochistan. One is in Makran, one is in Wadh, District Khuzdar. The third is in the Mishk area of Zehri. There are more than 100 armed men there--Arabs, Pashtuns, Punjabis and others. With the help of Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, they are living there. The fourth camp is near Chiltan, the capital of Balochistan, Quetta.” Dr. Nazar futher stated that “Religious fundamentalism is growing and supported by Pakistan’s ISI”
