Perpetual Persecution of Civilians in Balochistan
On Monday November 3rd the bullet riddled bodies of 5 abducted Baloch were discovered in Karachi. According to reports the bodies were found dumped with their hands bound and bearing marks of torture.
Each victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. The victims were identified as Rizwan Abdul Samad, Zafar Mohammad Hussain, Rizwan Mohammad Hanif, Liaqat Mohammad Omar, and Abdul Waheed Mohammad Ali.
All 5 victims were abducted 18 months ago by Pakistan Security Forces A week earlier the bodies of 3 previously abducted Baloch activists were also found shot to death in the Abdullah Goth area of Karachi. Two of them were identified as Marri tribesmen.
In a late breaking development ISI agents in grey car (number plate: LEF 3628) accompanied by Sindh Police vans abducted Ali Ahmed from Navel Colony, Karachi. Ali Ahmed is a cousin of Long time BSO-Azad activist Banuk Karima Baloch.
During the past month in Occupied Balochistan; Pakistan Armed Forces continued to accelerate their violent campaign of Enforced Abductions, Extra-Judicial Executions, and excessive use of Deadly Military Force against civilian targets.
Baloch activists have reported more than 30 confirmed abductions, and at least 21 mutilated bodies recovered during the month of October 2014.
At a recent press conference The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) Chairman Nasrullah Baloch stated that “during the term of the present Govt 400 persons were abducted while 150 people dead bodies have been found.”
He also urged “the United Nations, international media & journalist’s community, civil society and human rights organizations to raise voice against secret agencies against Baloch genocide in Balochistan and grave violation of human rights.”
According to the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, the state forces have extra judicially executed more than 3000 Baloch activists held in their custody. The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons held protests in Quetta on Eid day to demand the occupational state release the nearly 20,000 abducted and imprisoned Baloch.
BSO-Azad also held demonstrations on Eid day in Karachi to protest the enforced disappearance of BSO Azad chairman Zahid Baloch. Zahid has been missing since Security forces abducted him in March of this year.
While the relatives and families of the disappeared spent Eid day mourning their disappeared relatives & loved ones; the occupational state forces actively engaged in the indiscriminate bombardment of villages in Mashkai, Balochistan.
Local residents Khair Baksh and Sabir Baloch were both killed during the assault. Six others including 2 women and 3 children were wounded. One of the wounded children, 10 year old Gulnaz d/o Khair Baksh succumbed to her injuries the next day.
On October 16th the Pakistan Army conducted loot & burn operations in the Mohair region of Mand. Numerous civilians were abducted and several houses were looted of valuables & set ablaze. Shakir Baloch was among those abducted during the operation.
The bullet riddled remains of Abdul Baqi were found on October 11th in the nearby Mandeek River. Abdul Baqi was abducted in the Mand area only a few hours prior to the discovery of his remains.
On October 20th the residents of Goath Ramzan Marri, near Sakran district of Hub, became the target of a full scale military invasion. Occupational State Forces exacted their revenge upon the innocent Baloch villagers following a recent militant attack on a Punjabi factory in Hub.
During the assault, Abdul Sattar Marri was killed by gunfire, and nearly a dozen people were abducted. The abductees were identified as Maula Bakhsh Marri, Arbab Khan Marri, Saeed Jado Marri, Bilawal Marri, Sultan Marri, Elahi Bakhsh Marri, Zaman Khan Marri, Gull Khan Marri, young student Miaya Khan Marri, and a 10 year old disabled boy named Rahmdil Marri.
Several homes were looted of valuables and set on fire. Additionally local residents including women & children were allegedly interrogated & subjected to acts of torture.
The Dera Bugti region continues to be a focal point for the Pakistan Army’s vicious crusade. Large contingents of soldiers and gunship helicopters are routinely deployed to conduct savage military operations against the civilian residents.
Most recently on Saturday November 8th two children were critically injured by a landmine explosion outside the Dera Bugti home of Baloch Folk singer Sabz Ali Bugti. According to Sabz Ali Bugti, his 6 year old neice Nabila, and 7 year old son Abdul Majeed Sabz were playing outside the house when the landmine exploded. The children are currently receiving medical care and are listed in Critical Condition at the Rahim Yar Khan medical facility.
On October 23rd In the Katan area of Sui, Dera Bugti; occupational state forces commenced another round of loot and burn operations. Nakifo s/o Faqira Bugti and Sheroo Bugti s/o Bharam Bugti were abducted during the door to door search operation. According to reports several houses in the village were also burned to the ground.
Occupational State Forces later besieged the same village with mortar rounds injuring 3 women & 2 children. A few days later the mutilated remains of recently abducted Ali jan s/o Ali Khan Bugti was found dumped in the nearby Patfeedar area. Ali Jan was abducted a month earlier during a military operation in Naseerabad.
Earlier in the month, on October 4th, Pakistan Army conducted similar door to door search loot & burn operations in the Loti area of Dera Bugti.
According to reports, 6 people were abducted during the operation. Two of the abductees were identified as Ali Khan s/o Wasu Bugti and Kajla s/o Pir Mohd Bugti.
As a result of the Occupational State’s barbaric policies and their sinister military campaigns in Balochistan, the body count continues to rise exponentially. The tortured and mutilated remains of Baloch activists and innocent civilians alike are found on a daily basis throughout the region.
On October 21st the severely decomposed and tortured remains of 16 year old Waseem Baloch s/o Abdul Rehman Baloch was found dumped in the Paskol River in Khodabadan area of Panjgur. Waseem Baloch was abducted a week earlier on October 14th from the Chitkaan area of Panjgur. Prior to that on October 11th the tortured remains of Noor-ul-allah were recovered in the same area.
On October 14th the body of Waris s/o Mohammad Jan was found in the nearby Kuda Badan area of Panjgur. Meanwhile on October 26th 2 children were killed in Panjgur when occupational state forces indiscriminately fired rockets at rural villages in the region.
On October 14th the tortured & bullet riddled remains of Dostain Bugti were found dumped in the Mazari Goth area of Kashmore district of Sindh on Sunday. Dostain, a resident of Sui, was abducted on October 4th from the Gudu area of the same district while travelling to Rahimyar Khan for medical treatment.
State Agents abducted 5 people during a military operation on October 11th in Awaran. The abductees were identified as Imdad s/o Mohd Amin, Hussain s/o Allah Dad, Qadir Dad s/o Jan Mohd, Raees & Asomi Baloch.
In response to the occupational state’s latest round of savage attacks on Baloch civilians, Baloch Freedom Fighters recently struck several heavy blows against the occupational state forces in Balochistan. The fearless Baloch Sarmachar staged numerous daring attacks against security checkpoints, military convoys and army bases of the occupational state forces in and around the Panjgur & Awaran region.
Baloch Sarmachar also dealt significant blows against army camps in Mand, Kolwah, Mashkai, and Kech. Occupational State Army Camps in Nushki, Quetta, and Loralai were also heavily damaged by Baloch Sarmachar.
According to reports, Pakistan armed forces suffered heavy casualties and severe damage at the hands of the Sarmachar in all engagements.
In Addition to the occupational state’s relentless military campaign against Baloch civilians, State endorsed death squads and proxy terrorist organizations continue to freely operate throughout the region with complete impunity. As a result target killings, kidnappings, and sectarian violence has become the everyday reality in occupied Balochistan. At least 14 people were killed and 10 injured by gunmen during the month of October in Balochistan.
Three children were allegedly injured on October 3rd when unidentified assailants tossed a hand grenade into a house on Allah Dina rd. in Quetta. On October 5th in Mashkai unidentified gunmen killed Jawahir Ali s/o Yaar Jaan r/o Jebri Mashkai.
The next day in Khudzar Zehri 3 people were killed and 3 more wounded when unidentified gunmen opened fire on their car.
Ghaus Bux, and Mohammad Hassani, residents of Anjerah, were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Surab on October 7th; according to reports the victims’ brother was also injured during the attack. Meanwhile Qazi Mussa was assassinated by unidentified gunmen in Naseerabad on the same day.
On October 9th unidentified gunmen killed Manzoor Ahmed on Saryab rd in Quetta. The next day in Panjgur unidentified gunmen killed Aftab & Sayed Noor.
On October 12th Fida Husain was killed and Huzoor Bux was injured by unidentified gunmen in Kalat.
On October 16th Haji Majeed Raja was killed by unidentified gunmen in Mach. The same day In Quetta Mohammad Shah was injured by gunmen on Jinnah rd.
For almost 70 days now, activists have been holding demonstrations and token hunger strikes at the Karachi Press Club against the enforced abduction of BNM Leader Kachkul Ali’s son Nabeel Baloch. Nabeel was abducted in Karachi on August 30th and has been missing ever since.
BRP UK held a demonstration at the in front of the British Parliament with the UK Ahwazi community on October 30th 2014 to protest the occupational barbaric kill & dump policies, enforced disappearances and military aggression in Balochistan.
BRP & BRSO held a rally in Gushank, Awaran on November 5th. Hundreds of protestors gathered to pay homage to Baloch Martyrs and highlight the Baloch Liberation Struggle. Demonstrators also protested the occupational state atrocities.

On Sunday October 12th Baloch Community of South Korea organized a Baloch Culture Program to generate awareness about Occupied Balochistan and highlight the customs & tradition of Baloch people.
On October 21st BSO Azad established a protest camp in Jahoo, Balochistan in protest of the enforced disappearances of Baloch students and activists. BSO-Azad is currently holding a 3 day long demonstration and nationwide shutter-down strikes on November 11th, 12th, and 13th.
