Foreign Powers Fueling Pakistani Nuclear War Machine
Chinese president Xi Jinping recently visited Pakistan to ratify a $46 billion dollar “economic corridor” investment treaty and personally inaugurate several joint projects with the Pakistani State to forcefully accelerate the exploitation of Balochistan’s natural resources. The Chinese president also pledged full support for Pakistan’s ruthless military aggression against the indigenous Baloch people; under the pretense of fighting terrorists.
Immediately following Xi Jinping’s visit; the Pakistan armed forces commenced a grand military operation to completely erase the indigenous Baloch population of Balochistan. Since then numerous Baloch villages and towns were decimated by Pakistani Armed Forces, and dozens of people have been abducted. The abductees are being illegally detained without any formal charges, and are often subjected to inhuman acts of torture. In recent weeks the Occupier Army has been fabricating clashes with fictitious militants to facilitate disposal of the remains of abducted Baloch; executed while in custody.
On May 28th 1998 Pakistan celebrated one of the cruelest acts in modern history. On that grim day the Pakistan Army began a series of devastating underground nuclear weapons tests in the Chagai mountain range of Balochistan. Five nuclear bombs were tested on May 28th in the Ras Koh hills area; and two days later on May 30th a boosted-fission weapon-grade plutonium device was tested in the nearby Kharan desert.
Both the immediate and the long term effects of the nuclear tests on the region were catastrophic. Water and soil in the area was contaminated by radiation causing widespread loss of plant and animal life. In addition to the immense impact on the environment; many abnormal illnesses also began to afflict the residents of the area. Since the May 28th nuclear weapons tests; strange ailments, diseases, disorders, disfigurements, skin conditions, and other serious ailments have become prevalent in the regions surrounding the Chagai & Kharan test sites.
